Introduction

Connection® was established in the year 1991. The primary aim of the company then was to publish the first Yellow Pages for the Kingdom of Nepal.

Connection® is running it’s sixteen successful year of operation from April 2007. Apart from publishing of the Connection® Yellow Pages, there is Connection® Nepal Educational Directory, Connection® Nepal Medical Directory, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industries Members Directory and entertainment programs among others.

Connection® Yellow Pages is the foremost yellow pages for the Kingdom of Nepal having a market share of 60 percent. Connection® Yellow Pages, Connection® Nepal Educational Directory and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industries Members Directory generates an annual turnover of Rs. 1 million (US $1 = Rs. 70 approx.) . These activities alone have built up the capital base of Connection® to Rupees fifty lacs, and presently fifty personnel take pride in being part of the Connection® work force.

The Organization

The Leading Team

Kailash Dewan The Chairman, with an educational background in Management and Marketing from Canada, and 14 long years with international non governmental organizations (INGO’s), envisioned the requirement of a Yellow Pages in Nepal and setup Connection® in 1990. Today, he looks into the planning and policies of the organization, having deputed major responsibilities to his efficient team. Presently. diversified into the humanitarian field of education with Campion Academy, Campion College, Campion Kathmandu Higher Secondary School, Campion Kathmandu College, Kathmandu Valley School, Campion School, Campion Int’l School (in India), G.C.A. ‘A’ Levels with plans to establish a recognized university eventually.

Debbie Dewan The Managing Director handles the overall management of Connection® and sister concerns, lending an international lady charm to the company. She is handling day to day management, creative works, financial and marketing aspects. Besides this, she is one of the Promoters of the Campion institutions, actively involved in social works, a member of Women’s Entrepreneurs of Nepal (WEAN) and the Managing Director of Nepal Connection Tours (P) Ltd.
